Educated in fine art with a MS in biology, Jon Anderson is one of the most accomplished polymer clay artists in the world. Fusing his talents in art, botany, and zoology, with an interest in ancient iconography, theology and Divine Proportion, Jon expresses himself in his chosen medium with emotion, intelligence and gravity.
Collected for the past 15 years globally, Jon Anderson’s work was recently introduced to the world of music via his collaboration with Hand Guitars. Jon is an avid supporter and collector of folk art, and odd guitars. Based in Bali, his charity works include the preservation and protection of reptiles, street dogs’ health and sterilization programs, and the production of affordable snakebite antivenins. He was instrumental in the procuring of medical aid from the developed world for the victims of the 2002 Bali bombings.
